Jane studied Fashion Illustration at St. Martins college and took a BA in Fashion Design and Textiles at Kingston University. She went on to become a Costume Designer at the BBC, a bridalwear and knitwear designer and a freelance fashion illustrator.
She has enjoyed commissions for Brides, Vogue, Menswear, Wedding, The Sunday Times and for leading London design groups like Young & Rubicam, as well as drawing for M&S and leading wedding dress designers, including Browns Bride and Phillipa Lepley.
Her work is being marketed for fine art posters worldwide. She has found a niche in sketching at bridalwear fittings for new brides and making live drawings at weddings, an activity that particularly suits her loose flowing style.

Jane has enjoyed increasing success with the resurgence of fashion illustration in newspapers and magazines.
She is happy to work in a variety of materials including graphite, pastels, pen and ink, and is able to combine her hand-drawn imagery with fabrics as well as working with computer generated tonal areas and imagery.
Her work has recently been published in Times Style Magazine, exhibited at Temple Place and Somerset House for Quintessentially Events, and published online in Vogue News, The Independent, The Guardian, Perfect Wedding and Harpers Bazaar.

Jane’s work has sold as fine art through many exhibitions in The West Country and London, including The Untitles Artists Fair in Chelsea Town Hall, Battersea Decorative Art Fair and Olympia.
Her strong imagery, use of mixed media and ability to combine different layers of materials makes her work unique and distinctive.
As fine-art posters, prints and greetings cards, her work is being sold worlwide through interior design shops, mail-order catalogues and online galleries.
As well as illustrating wedding dresses for leading couture designers such as Phillipa Lepley, Jane has produced images for wedding magazines and events. Her work has found particular favour with wedding planners, event organisers such as Quintessentially Weddings Atelier, brides and grooms.
Her style is particularly suited to live sketching throughout the wedding day, as well as sketching at the bride’s and bridesmaids’ dress fittings.
After the event Jane combines her sketches from the day in a specially silk bound volume, or as a framed montage, which includes any variety of sketches and memories for the couple to keep; the invitation, photographs, place cards, guest salutations,confetti, samples of lace, beads and dress fabrics..
